A new WordPress update is out. You should update all your blogs to ensure the best security. The new version has some really cool features like version tracking for posts, word count and mass plugin management. This is in addition to numerous bug fixes.
HP accquired EDS recently and this was the cause of much celebration among some of my friends who had job offers from the latter.
But the problem is that there might be some layoffs due to the merger since the buzzword seems to be automation which means lesser people are required. Only time will tell what will happen. Meanwhile employees can expect larger salaries.
Why does WordPress not have an inbuilt updater?
Downloading it and replacing older files is such a pain. There must be a simpler way to do it using a plugin. Just get the files from the server and then install it on the current server. This would make updating much easier and so much less painful.
Now that WordPress 2.5 is going to be launched this blog will need a new theme. In the new version the Dashboard is completely revamped and we’ll see a lot new features like built in Gravatar support which is nice. I particular like the easy plugin updating feature.
So if you have any theme suggestions that will be 2.5 compatible tell us and we’ll consider them.
All the stores in my area stock electronic gadgets like cellphones and audio players and market them aggressively but they don’t stock any accessories for their products.
Are accessories any less important? Since I couldn’t find any I went online and searched for phone accessories and found SF Planet which had a stunning collection of accessories for all kinds of handheld devices like PDAs and MP3 players in addition to phones. I looked in the Nokia category and found an amazing red sportcase for the phone that was just $20. Definitely a great deal. On Tuesdays Blizzard takes down all the World of Warcraft servers for maintenance for one whole day.
Now this is very annoying. Why do they need one whole day to for maintenance? They could do it realm by realm or apply changes in some other way. Instead they deprive paying members of game time.
